Dr. Tannaz Tolou earned her medical degree at Tehran University and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami where she received the annual William J Lemaire award, best academic chief award and the Society for Gynecology Investigation (SGI) prestigious Pfizer President’s Award. After moving to California, she finished her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of California, San Diego. During her training, she completed several basic and clinical research projects, including examining the impact of inflammation on developing endometriosis, investigating the association of androgen production and ovarian morphology in PCOS patients, and lately, the association of fertility concerns with the choice of contraception in breast cancer survivors.

About Dr. Toloubeydokhti
Dr. Tolou’s clinical interests include polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, hypothalamic amenorrhea, oncofertility and serving the LGBTQ community.
She has extensive experience in performing fertility and minimally invasive procedures such as hysteroscopy, polypectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy and removal of endometriosis implants.
Dr. Tolou is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is a firm believer in personalized patient care and ensuring good communication with patients and is committed to helping couples undergo a safe journey to complete their family.
Dr. Tolou is bilingual in English and Farsi.
She enjoys biking, hiking, reading novels, spending time with her family, and traveling.
