Dr. Michael Vermesh
Dr. Vermesh received his medical degree in Israel from the Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine before he moved to Chicago to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and has over 30 years of experience to help you on your fertility journey.
Dr. Tannaz Toloubeydokhti
Dr. Tannaz Tolou earned her medical degree at Tehran University and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami before moving to California to complete her fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. She has earned numerous prestigious awards as well as board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
This method of reproductive medicine involves inducing ovulation with medicine, retrieving an egg from the mother or using an egg donor, and combining it in our lab with the sperm from the father or sperm donor. After fertilization, the embryo is transferred to the mother or surrogate.
Egg Donation
There are a number of reasons why a patient may require the use of an egg donor. From medical concerns with the mother to low ovarian reserve, or even to help same-sex couples, we offer egg donation services from screened donors.
LGBTQ Family Planning
We proudly serve patients from the LGBTQ community and offer a range of fertility services to help them expand their families, including egg donation, sperm donation, reciprocal IVF, and surrogacy.
Endometriosis
Our fertility experts offer diagnosis and treatment for a range of issues, including endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition in which uterine-like cells grow outside of the uterus. This can cause pain and is linked to infertility and other reproductive health issues.
Egg Freezing
Egg freezing is a fertility preservation method that allows a woman to preserve her eggs for future IVF treatment. This is a great option for patients who aren't ready to start a family just yet or who have medical conditions that might interfere with future fertility.
Tubal Embryo Transfer
During a tubal embryo transfer (TET), two-day-old embryos are transferred to the fallopian tubes instead of the uterus during an IVF cycle. This method of IVF is indicated only for patients with cervical obstructions, difficulty during prior cervical transfers, or for patients with multiple failed IVF cycles.

So so thankful for Dr. Vermesh and all the other staff at The Center for Fertility and Gynecology. From the very first phone call, I knew this center was different. I felt heard and treated with respect. Dr. Vermesh found the cause of both my infertility and irregular cycles within seconds of using the ultrasound (a polyp on my uterus). This was something none of my regular doctors found and only told me that “your body changes after having a baby”. Dr. Vermesh not only made me feel comfortable during the ultrasounds, by dimming the lights, and making sure I was covered with the blanket, feeling less exposed, but he also explained everything that needed to be done in careful detail. He answered all of my questions with kindness and he truly remembered me from one appointment to the next.

Dr. Tolou and her team have such wonderful bedside manner and will go above and beyond for you. She discusses all the in and outs with you, gives you thorough information and options, and answers all questions leaving you satisfied. Her team is also so sweet and is always so quick with responses to emails or calls. Right from our initial consultation, we were comfortable and happy with choosing Dr. Tolou and the Center for Fertility and Gynecology. With just our first IUI, my partner and I were so blessed to have welcomed our little beautiful miracle this summer.
