Fertility Treatment for International Patients

At the Center for Fertility and Gynecology, we have extensive experience in helping patients from all over the world. In fact, our offices have helped families grow on 6 of the7 continents including more than 25 separate countries.

This experience is important when considering a clinic, because of the multitude of variables which go into fertility therapy. At the Center for Fertility & Gynecology, our experience not only makes the process easier for the patient, but ultimately, improves ones chance for success.

Some of the ways we assist international patients:

1. At the Center for Fertility & Gynecology, we understand that language can be a barrier when planning fertility treatments.  In fact, our center has multilingual staff members (including physicians), or on-call translators are available to speak: Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, Russian, Chinese or Japanese.

2.Initial consultation - we are accustomed to obtaining and providing patients with all the necessary information through phone or internet based consultations.  At the Center for Fertility & Gynecology, we take extra steps to thoroughly review the treatment process including logistics that are unique to international patients such as transportation of sperm, frozen embryos and frozen eggs from overseas, as well as planning the fertility treatment in order to accommodate our patient's timeline.  At the Center for Fertility & Gynecology, we try to limit the patient's stay in the USA to a minimal, in fact most of our fertility treatments can be concluded with a short stay in the USA usually lasting not more than 10 days.

3.Outside monitoring - In order to limit the amount of stay in the USA, patients can have the initial examinations as well as the initial monitoring of the treatment with their local doctor.

4.Communication - At the Center for Fertility & Gynecology, we believe that communication is key to the success and overall experience of the fertility treatments.  Communication is even more critical for international patients who are not physically in the USA.  Our staff and physicians take extra steps to communicate regularly and freely with our patients.  We answer emails promptly and we are always available by phone, skype or email, even when time zones are different.

5.Medications - Our pharmacy partners are experts in navigating custom's policies associated with shipping medications over seas.  Our center is also very familiar with the various fertility medications that are available in different countries and our physicians plan the treatments accordingly.
