HOST SPEAKER: To the doctors and staff at the Center for Fertility and Gynecology in Los Angeles, California, having the opportunity to help couples struggling with fertility issues is not something they take for granted.
It's really special. You know, there's not many times in life where you get to relate to a person on a deeply profound level. What in life is more important than prolonging a family and having a child?
HOST SPEAKER: All three doctors on staff have a combined close to four decades of experience. And are uniquely qualified to address the individual fertility problems for even the most complex and difficult cases in LA from around the country and from around the world.
DR. MICHAEL VERMESH: That includes traditional couples, single women, single men, same sex couples and on and on. We are not the judgmental, we are open to receive couples and singles who desire to have children.
All three of us are Board certified; all three of us bring our own expertise and knowledge. And we work harmonically together, which is very important. I think patients feel it. We seek each patient individually with their own diagnosis; their own characteristics and we really try and find the best treatment for that patient.
HOST SPEAKER: The highly skilled and personalized approach of the physician and CFG Team is appreciated by the many patients this fertility center has helped over the years. In fact, when you look and listen to the genuine emotions expressed by their patients toward the entire staff, it can oftentimes be extraordinary. For example, for years, Tammy and her husband didn't have success in their efforts to start a family. But that has all now changed. After her treatment here, she is now seven months pregnant.
TAMARA - PATIENT: Actually, the whole staff here are amazing and there wasn't a day that I didn't come in to get checked up, or whatever there, I didn't actually-- you know, I started feeling excited to come, and it's like a little outing for me to come see my friends, and every single one of them. Every single of them made myself and my husband feel so welcome.
HOST SPEAKER: Tammy is counting the minutes until she can hold what she calls "Her little angel."
TAMARA - PATIENT: The first time I'm going to hold this little one, I can't even express, because she's an angel.
HOST SPEAKER: That type of emotion is something that this staff lives for. Their high success rates are consistently among the highest in the country, and their state of the art, accredited IVF lab is a big reason for that.
It's the behind the scenes engine that drives the whole process. Our lab is top notch. The embryologist who work in our laboratory are incredibly dedicated, amazingly knowledgeable, have a huge amount of experience treating all sorts of IVF. And in addition, they are there whenever they are needed.
HOST SPEAKER: The Center for Fertility and Gynecology offers the widest range of fertility treatments available. Here's a list of just some of the services they provide. But it's not just the treatments they provide, it's how they provide them that really makes this place special.
they come here, they know our nurses, they know the personnel. And definitely we try and make it that way to decrease their stress and make it a very comfortable atmosphere.
DR. MICHAEL VERMESH: When couples receive the news about the successful treatment and being pregnant, there's a change in the tone of this office. Everybody's face lightens up. Not just the patient, all the staff here.
The moment that you find out that you're going to have a child is life altering; it gives you chills. And we're honored. We're absolutely honored to being part of that.
